The Los Angeles Chargers will have the sixth choice in the second round of the NFL draft and the seventh in the third round Friday after selecting Clemson receiver Mike Williams in the first round.

“I see a lot of good football players left up there,” general manager Tom Telesco said.

Each of the second-round choices will be announced at the draft headquarters in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art by a former star player from that team.

The Chargers pick will be announced by Shawne Merriman, a three-time Pro Bowl selection at linebacker who played for the team from 2005-10.

Each of the third-round choices will be announced by a recipient of the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award or a team winner. The award recognizes a player for his excellence on and off the field.

The Chargers choice will be announced by outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu, the team winner in 2016.

The Chargers used the seventh overall selection Thursday to choose Williams, who caught 98 passes for 1,361 yards and 11 touchdowns, all team highs, for the national champion Tigers in 2016.

Williams was a first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection after suffering a season-ending neck injury on Clemson’s first drive of the 2015 season.

Telesco described the 6-foot-4-inch, 220-pound Williams as “a big, physical, tough receiver that’s highly athletic too.”

“He’s a player that’s played against a lot of top-level (cornerbacks) this past year and he’s produced against everybody,” Telesco said.

Telesco said the Chargers had talked with executives from several teams “but didn’t see a scenario that saw us trading up in the draft.”

“We felt really good about where we were,” Telesco said.

The three-day draft will conclude Saturday with the final four rounds.

The Chargers will hold a DraftFest party from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at StubHub Center in Carson, where they are set to play the next two seasons.

Williams, quarterback Philip Rivers and several other current and former players are set to attend. The draft will be shown on screens throughout the stadium.

Children can play interactive NFL Play60 games. Admission and parking are free.
