A fundraising effort for the American Red Cross to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey will be held at Sunday’s UCLA-Texas A&M football game at the Rose Bowl.

Fans attending the game will be asked to text keyword “HARVEY” to 75759 to make a donation.

Fans donating at least $10 will receive two free tickets to the Sept. 9 UCLA-Hawaii football game. The tickets can be received by showing your donation receipt at one of three customer service booths on the Rose Bowl Stadium concourse before the end of the third quarter.

To promote donations, both teams will wear a special helmet decal to help bring awareness of those affected by Hurricane Harvey, now a tropical depression. Pre-game and in-game announcements and video board reminders will also be made.

“It’s easy to feel helpless at a time like this, but when we come together and use the platform of sports for what really matters, our collective power to make a difference is far more impactful than we could have imagined,” UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero said.
