Children 14 years old and under will be able to run the bases at Dodger Stadium for the first time this season following Sunday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Dodgers allow children 14 and under to run the bases following most Sunday day games.

The Dodgers will conduct the first of three youth baseball and softball pregame parades Sunday.

Youth baseball and softball team and league officials interested in having players and coaches in uniform participate in the parades April 14 or April 28 should contact Sammy Park at (323) 224-4287 or SammyP@ladodgers.com.

U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Christopher Terry will be honored as the Military Hero of the Game.

Terry enlisted in 1998 and after basic training was selected to enter medical training. After graduating first in his class, he was assigned to Bethesda Naval Hospital and later Port Hueneme Navy Base in Oxnard.

Terry has served two deployments to Iraq, including once in support of the Battle of Fallujah, and one each to Afghanistan and West Africa.

Terry is stationed at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, where he is assigned to Special Boat Team 12 and oversees numerous medical personnel.

The Dodgers will lower the price of a Dodger Dog to $1 from the usual price of $6.75 for Monday’s game against the San Francisco Giants.
