
After a week of El Nino-driven rain, the Southland can look forward to a mostly dry weekend with highs in the low 60s.
The forecast for central Los Angeles from Malibu to Long Beach calls for mostly cloudy conditions but only a 20 percent chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday. Highs Saturday will be around 60, and it will be a little warmer on Sunday.
The National Weather Service cautions that a weak cold front could still bring light showers to the area, but they won’t be heavy. The chance of rain will be highest in the evenings.
