Isolated rain showers are expected in many parts of the Southland Saturday amid overcast skies and cool temperatures.
Heavy rain on Friday caused flooding, mudslides and slippery roads in parts of Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Flash flooding, lightning, gusty winds and hail are also in Saturday’s forecast along with a 20 percent chance of isolated showers in the morning and late afternoon.
Already Saturday morning occasionally heavy rain has been reported at Los Angeles International Airport and some parts of the San Fernando Valley
A flash flood warning will remain in effect until 8 p.m.

Saturday night it will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Lows in the lower to mid 50s.
The forecast for Sunday calls for mostly cloudy skies. A 20 percent chance of showers in the morning. Highs in the mid 60s to around 70.
In Coastal Orange County the forecast for Sarurday calls for mostly cloudy skies. Scattered showers in the morning and then a slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs around 66.
Saturday night it will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Lows 52 to 57.
Sunday it will be partly cloudy. Slight chance of showers in the morning. Highs around 67.
The ultraviolet index level in the Los Angeles area for Saturday is a high 8, according to the weather service. A high exposure level reading of 7-9 means that a person could be sunburned in 7-8 minutes.
