Forecasters say it will clear in the Los Angeles area Saturday after fog and patchy drizzle, but there will be a 20 percent chance of rain throughout the day.

The National Weather Service office in Oxnard said highs Saturday would range from the mid 60s to lower 70s. The fog will return on Saturday night.

Coastal Orange County will also get patchy drizzle in the morning, but rain is not expected. Highs will be 67 to 72 with gusty winds in the afternoon.

The weather service said a low-pressure system 250 miles southwest of Los Angeles will deepen the marine layer through the weekend while keep temperatures cool.
