Crews Wednesday morning made fast work of a non-injury duplex fire in El Sereno.
The blaze was reported at 7:08 a.m. at a one-story duplex at 3611 N. Locke Ave.
Flames were visible in one unit of the duplex when crews arrived, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Forty-two firefighters responded and put out the blaze in 19 minutes, she said.
