A person was killed Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on State Route 215 near the March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 3:40 a.m. on the southbound route at Cactus Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A vehicle had overturned onto its side near the center divider, the CHP said.
All southbound lanes were stopped at 3:51 a.m. and a representative from the coroner’s office was dispatched to the scene at 4:02 a.m.
There was no other immediate information available.
