A person died Thursday after a vehicle went 200 feet over the side of a road in Gilman Hot Springs.
The fall was reported around 2:25 p.m. Thursday on Lambs Canyon Road north of Gilman Springs Road, the Riverside County Fire Department announced.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, whose age and gender were not provided, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol assumed the investigation.
