A person was killed Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Riverside, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 3:20 a.m. on the eastbound freeway, west of Adams Street, the California Highway Patrol reported.
It involved an SUV and a sedan, the CHP said, adding that one vehicle went over a wall and into a canal.
A representative from the coroner’s office was called to the location at 3:37 a.m.
There was no other immediate information available.
