Two men were found with gunshot wounds in a vehicle on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway in Gardena.
The victims were found by California Highway Patrol officers just south of Redondo Beach Boulevard around 9:25 p.m., Thursday, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jack Richter said.
The men, both 38 years old, were hospitalized in stable condition, Sgt. Angela McGee said.
A videographer at the scene said the victims’ vehicle had gone through a guardrail and into bushes alongside the freeway.
Northbound traffic on the freeway was stopped just south of the Artesia (91) Freeway late tonight as LAPD and CHP officers searched the lanes for evidence.
