A man in his 40s was wounded in an officer-involved shooting in Los Feliz on Friday evening.
No officers were injured in the shooting, which occurred about 6:35 p.m. near the intersection of Los Feliz Boulevard and Tica Drive, said Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
The man was not conscious or breathing at the scene, Im said.
Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department said one person was taken from the scene to a hospital, but she had no further details about the patient.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the shooting or if the suspect was armed.
