A motorist took out a parking meter and crashed through the wall of a cafe in Highland Park on Sunday, then fled the scene on foot.
The crash at the Highland Cafe, 5010 York Blvd., occurred about 1:30 a.m., according to a police officer at the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Central Traffic Division.
No one was transported to an area hospital from the scene of the crash, he said, adding that he had no other immediate information.
A watch commander could not be reached for immediate comment.
