Police asked for the public’s help Friday to identify the six young men who stole a number of iPhones and Ipads from an Apple store in Manhattan Beach.

The theft took place about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Apple store located at 3294 N. Sepulveda Blvd., according to Manhattan Beach Police Sgt. Paul Ford.

Witnesses told police that six black men ranging in age from their late teens to their early 20s came into the store as a group and stole the equipment from the customer display tables, Ford said.

All of the thieves were wearing hoodie sweatshirts over their heads, Ford said.

The suspects apparently fled the scene on foot, he said.

An estimate of the losses was not immediately available.

Anyone with information on their identities was asked to call Ford at (310) 802-5123.
