A 26-year-old woman known to suffer from health problems was found dead Thursday near railroad tracks in Glendora.
Metro employees doing work found the woman’s body just after 10 a.m. a few feet from the tracks in the area of South Line Hill Avenue and Auto Centre Drive, according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The woman, a Glendora resident whose name has not been released, did not appear to have been struck by a train and showed no signs of trauma or foul play, according to Schrader, who said “it appears she may have been there for a day or two.”
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were assisting Glendora police in the investigation.
