An accused hit-and-run driver arrested three years after he allegedly fled the scene of a Van Nuys collision that killed an 84- year-old man with a walker pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a felony charge.

Arthur Song, 32, was arrested last month in connection with the crash that fatally injured Asghar Abbassi, who was crossing in a marked crosswalk at White Oak Avenue at Valerio Street about 6 a.m. on Aug. 26, 2013, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Detective William Bustos of the LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division told the Daily News that some tips led to the arrest. The vehicle believed to have been involved was impounded, he said.

A date is scheduled to be set Nov. 18 in a Van Nuys courtroom to determine if there is enough evidence to require Song to stand trial on the felony hit-and-run charge.

He was freed on a $50,000 bond on Sept. 7, the day of his arrest, according to jail records.
