A big rig jackknifed on a Pasadena freeway Saturday, causing a crash with a sedan that injured two people.

It was reported at 3:14 a.m. on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway, east of San Gabriel Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol officer Tony Polizzi.

A sedan crashed into the big rig after it jackknifed, but the people inside the vehicle suffered only minor injuries, the CHP said.

Two people inside the sedan were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, according to the Pasadena Fire Department.
