A man was fatally wounded in Lynwood, authorities said Sunday.
It happened at 6:35 p.m. Saturday in the 10900 block of Mallison Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Bob Boese said.

The victim was shot in his living quarters, which was a converted bedroom inside a detached garage at the rear of a residence, Deputy Kelvin Moody of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Boese said.
No suspect information was available.
