A man is being held for questioning Sunday in connection with the stabbing death of his wife in Lancaster.
The victim and suspect, who were married with two children, were arguing in the 4200 block of Jonathon Street prior to the stabbing, which occurred shortly before midnight Saturday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department‘s Information Bureau reported.

The man was detained at the location and was being held pending an interview by sheriff’s homicide detectives.
Paramedics rushed the woman to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
