Authorities Thursday were investigating the shooting death of a 45-year-old man in Compton.
The shooting was reported around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of West Magnolia Street, according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The man died at the scene, she said.
A description of the suspect was not available.
The fatal shooting was at least the second in three days in Compton.
A shooting victim was found Monday night in his car in the 800 block of East Compton Boulevard. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said Deputy Kelvin Moody.
