A year-old boy drowned Thursday in North Hollywood.
The death was reported about 11:15 a.m. in the 12000 block of Saticoy Street, according to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The child was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Madison said.
Additional details about the circumstances of the child’s death were not immediately released by police, but ABC7 reported he fell into a mop bucket while his mother was in a Zumba class in another room at a business complex.
