A woman believed to be the wife of a man found shot to death inside a home in an unincorporated area near Westlake Village was arrested Thursday morning.
Deputies were called about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday to a home in the 500 block of Westlake Boulevard and discovered a man inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound, according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, she said.
Information gathered in the course of the investigation led to the arrest of the woman and the murder weapon was recovered at the scene, said Schrader.
A motive for the shooting was unknown, she said.
The names of the victim and suspect were not released.
