Three men took about $8,000 worth of cellphones and watches in a grab-and-run burglary Monday at a T-Mobile store in Garden Grove.
The burglary was reported about 2:50 p.m. in the 12000 block of Brookhurst Street, near Chapman Avenue, according to Lt. Carl Whitney of the Garden Grove Police Department.
The suspects entered the store, walked around for a few minutes then started pulling merchandise from displays. They fled with cellphones and Apple watches, Whitney said.
Similar crimes have occurred recently elsewhere in Orange County and Los Angeles County, Whitney said.
All three suspects were described as Hispanic. One suspect was 18- to 20 years old, had short black hair and wore a black tank top shirt, black shorts, white socks and black shoes. Another was 14-16 years old with a fat build and curly black and orange hair. He wore a blue T-shirt, black and white striped shorts, white socks and white shoes.
The third suspect was 16-18 years old, also a fat build and medium length black hair. He wore a black T-shirt, blue shorts, white socks and white shoes.
