A person was shot during a possible home robbery in Van Nuys Monday evening.
The shooting was reported just before 8 p.m. in the 14100 block of Monroe Place, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Cervantes.
The person who was shot was taken to a hospital, and their condition was not immediately available, Cervantes said.
Police were searching the area for the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting, which investigators said occurred during a possible home robbery.
The incident remains under investigation.
