A driver was sent to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries after crashing a vehicle in Palm Desert Friday.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a report of the single vehicle crash at 6:58 a.m. Friday in the 38000 block of Washington Street.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene to find a person trapped inside the vehicle. The victim was safely removed and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
