Two people were injured Sunday evening in a crash in the Shadow Hills area of Los Angeles.
The crash was reported at 9:42 p.m. at 9629 N. Sunland Blvd., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.
One person was trapped inside each vehicle, Humphrey said.
Firefighters used hydraulic tools to free the patients and a news videographer at the scene said they were taken by paramedics to a hospital for treatment of injuries that appeared serious.
