An attempted murder suspect was arrested Wednesday following an hours-long barricade in the South Los Angeles area.
Officers were sent to 82nd and San Pedro streets about 1:40 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
A SWAT team was also sent to the scene, and the standoff continued until late Wednesday morning, when the suspect was taken into custody, police said. No injuries were reported. The suspect’s name was not immediately released.
Information was not immediately available on the attempted murder for which the suspect was wanted.
