A 59-year-old man was charged Tuesday with sexually assaulting his unconscious girlfriend at a Fullerton hospital.
Alfonso Cesar Madrid was charged with single felony counts of oral copulation of an unconscious person and oral copulation by anesthesia-controlled substance, according to court records.
The defendant is accused of committing the acts on the victim while she was in the emergency room of a hospital on Friday. When nurses saw it, they called police, officials said.
He did not enter a plea at his arraignment Tuesday in the Central Justice Center. The hearing was rescheduled for Oct. 13 in the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
