A man died in an apparent fight with another man, who was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The department received a call about a possible battery and medical rescue call at approximately 3:10 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of N. Canyada Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Information Bureau.

Deputies arrived on the scene and found one man unresponsive, and another suffering from undisclosed injuries from an apparent physical altercation between the two of them.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived and pronounced the former man dead. The other man was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. It was unclear if he was arrested.
