A 60-year-old man killed during a physical altercation in Compton was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Officers responding to a report of a battery at 8:21 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of North Poinsettia Avenue found the victim unresponsive from apparent fight-related injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies provided medical aid until paramedics arrived but Feliciano Aguayo-Delgado was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
A man allegedly involved in the fight was detained pending further investigation by detectives, officials said.
