Firefighters made quick work Monday of a fire in a two-story four-plex in Hyde Park.
At least 32 firefighters responded to the scene in the 4700 block of Eighth Avenue around 2 p.m. Monday, and the blaze was extinguished in 12 minutes, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
Prange said one person had a minor medical complaint, which was assessed at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
It was unclear what sparked the fire, and the cause was under investigation.
