A homeless man was found dead Friday at a Redondo Beach Pier parking structure.
According to the Redondo Beach Police Department, officers responded to the 100 block of West Torrance Boulevard around 6:10 a.m. Friday on a report of an unconscious victim with a gunshot wound to the head.
Redondo Beach Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
There was no immediate word on a possible suspect or motive for the shooting.
