A 46-year-old pedestrian who was killed after she was struck by a pickup on an on-ramp to the Harbor (110) Freeway in Wilmington was identified by county authorities Tuesday.
The pedestrian was identified as Lizbeth Vejar by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 10:34 p.m. Sunday on the Anaheim Street on-ramp to the southbound Harbor Freeway.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 10:44 p.m. closing the on-ramp and freeway lanes Nos. 3 and 4. The ramp and lanes were reopened at 1:18 a.m. Monday.
It was not immediately clear if the motorist stopped.
