Authorities Friday sought possible abuse victims of a traveling nurse credentialed by two Southern California hospitals.

Ameen Zarinkhil, 29, was arrested on July 12 on suspicion of attempting to meet with a minor for sexual acts.

He has since been charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office with one count each of attempting to meet a minor for sexual acts, attempting to create child pornography and sending harmful material to a child.

Zarinkhil, who is credentialed by West Hills Hospital and San Dimas Community Hospital, is free on $100,000 bail.

“Detectives have released the suspect’s booking photo due to his position of trust within the community,” according to statement from the Los Angeles Police Department. “They believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.”

Anyone who believes Zarinkhil may have victimized them was urged to contact the LAPD immediately by calling Harbor Station vice officers at 213-280-1501. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477) at www.lacrimestoppers.org.
