Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide investigators Wednesday are continuing their investigation of the fatal shooting of a man in East Los Angeles.

Deputies from the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded at approximately 8:15 p.m. Tuesday to the 4700 block of Telegraph Road, west of Arizona Avenue, regarding reports of a shooting, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Steven De Jong. When they arrived at the scene, deputies found four adult men suffering from gunshot wounds.

During the course of their investigation, detectives learned the four victims were seated in a vehicle when several suspects approached and fired shots at them. The suspects fled the scene in their vehicle northbound on Arizona, De Jong said.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics and three were taken to a hospital. One was listed in stable condition and two others were listed in critical condition, according to the LASD.
