A man was killed in a car-to-car shooting near the Kia Forum in Inglewood Friday evening.
The shooting occurred at about 6:30 p.m. Friday, Inglewood Police Department Lt. Landon Poirier told City News Service.
Poirier did not provide details about the victim’s gender or circumstances of the shooting but noted there was no one in custody and there were no other injuries.
Inglewood Mayor James Butts told NBC4 the victim was a man and that he was shot while inside a car by someone in another car when the two vehicles were stopped at Prairie Avenue and Manchester Boulevard.
The wounded man apparently drove to Nutwood Street and Prairie Avenue before losing consciousness.
