A man was shot and killed and a woman was wounded in the Hyde Park community of South Los Angeles Sunday, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched at about 3 a.m. Sunday to multiple calls of a shooting in the area of 48th Street and Eighth Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
Paramedics rushed a 30-year-old man to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. They also transported a 31-year-old woman to a hospital, where it was last reported that she had stable vital signs.
No motive or suspect description was immediately available.
