An estimated 460,500 ballots from Tuesday’s primary election in Los Angeles County still remain to be tallied, the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s Office announced.

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean Logan issued his second post-election night ballot count update on Thursday. The update included an additional 88,361 ballots processed since the first post-election update.

A total of 1,104,935 ballots have now been counted, equating to a voter turnout of 19.45% of registered voters.

Ballots that remain untallied include 450,000 vote-by-mail ballots, 10,000 conditional voter registration ballots and 500 provisional ballots.

The next ballot count update will be on Friday. Election results can be viewed on lavote.gov.
