The combination live-action and animated version of “The Jungle Book” continued to be king of the North American box office over the weekend, earning more than $61.5 million to dwarf the competition, according to final figures released today.

The Jon Favreau-directed feature film is a major hit for Disney, earning more than $192.2 million in its two weeks of release, according to comScore.

The film easily outpaced the debut of “The Huntsman: Winter’s War,” which opened in second place with $19.4 million.

“Barbershop: The Next Cut” collected $10.5 million to take third place, followed by another Disney animal-oriented film, “Zootopia,” which earned $6.6 million.

Melissa McCarthy’s comedy “The Boss” placed fifth with $6.2 million.

Rounding out the top 10 films of the weekend were “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” ($5.5 million); “Criminal” ($3.1 million); “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” ($2.1  million); “Compadres” ($1.4 million); and “Eye in the Sky” ($1.2 million)
