The contentious divorce between Presley and Michael Lockwood has been highlighted by allegations by Presley that she found hundreds of inappropriate photos of children in Lockwood’s possession.
Lockwood has not been charged with a crime. The couple’s 8-year-old twin children are being cared for by Presley’s mother, Priscilla.
Lisa Marie Presley is the only daughter of the late Elvis Presley.
Over the objection of Presley’s attorneys, a judge ordered her Wednesday to pay Lockwood $50,000 over the next five months to cover legal fees, according to E! Online. Lockwood had also requested $40,000 a month in spousal support, contending he has no income. Presley’s lawyers argued that Lockwood could look for work, but has failed to do so.
Presley and Lockwood were married in 2006.
Another hearing in the case is set for March 1.
