“Avengers: Infinity War” scored a leading seven nominations Wednesday for the annual Teen Choice Awards, while “Riverdale” and “Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments” led the way in the television categories with five nods each.

Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Drake and Cardi B all earned three nominations in music categories.

“Avengers: Infinity War” was nominated for Choice Action Movie, along with “Justice League,” “Maze Runner: The Death Cure,” “Pacific Rim: Uprising” and “Tomb Raider.” The film also earned nods for Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland in the Choice Action Movie Actor category, which was rounded out by Dylan O’Brien of “Maze Runner,” Henry Cavill of “Justice League” and John Boyega of “Pacific Rim.”

“Avengers” also earned three nominations in the Choice Action Movie Actress category, with nods going to Elizabeth Olsen, Scarlett Johansson and Zoe Saldana. Also nominated were Alicia Vikander for “Tomb Raider” and Amy Adams and Gal Gadot for “Justice League.”

Choice Sci-Fi Movie nominations went to “Black Panther,” “Blade Runner 2049,” “Rampage, ” “Ready Player One” and “Thor: Ragnarok.” Fantasy movie nods went to “A Wrinkle in Time,” “Coco,” “Peter Rabbit” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” For drama films, nominations went to “A Quiet Place,” “Midnight Sun,” “Murder on the Orient Express,” “The Greatest Showman,” “Truth or Dare” and “Wonder.”

On the small screen, “Riverdale” was nominated for Choice Drama TV Show, along with “Empire,” “Famous in Love,” “Star,” “The Fosters” and “This is Us.” Sci-Fi/Fantasy nods went to “iZombie,” “Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments,” “Stranger Things,” “Supernatural,” “The 100” and “The Originals.”

Nominated for best action show were “Arrow,” “Gotham,” “Lethal Weapon,” “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Supergirl” and “The Flash.”

In the music categories, nominations for Choice Male Artist went to Bruno Mars, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Shawn Mendes, while nods for Choice Female Artist went to Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Demi Lovato, Dua Lip and Taylor Swift.

Voting for the Teen Choice Awards is underway at and on Twitter. The awards will be presented Aug. 12 at the Forum.
