Costume designers behind the films “Conclave,” “Emilia Pérez,” “The Substance” and “Gladiator II” were among those nominated Friday for the 27th Costume Designers Guild Awards.
“Conclave,” “Emilia Pérez” and “The Substance” were nominated in the contemporary film category, along with “Challengers and “The Fall Guy.” “Gladiator II” was nominated for period film costumes, along with “The Book of Clarence,” “Maria,” “Nosferatu” and “Saturday Night.”
On the small screen, contemporary costume nominations went to designers for episodes of “Agatha All Along,” “Baby Reindeer,” “Emily in Paris,” “The Gentlemen” and “Hacks.” For period costuming, nominations went to “Bridgerton,” “FEUD,” “Palm Royal,” “Ripley” and “Shogun.”
The annual CDGA ceremony will be held Feb. 6 at The Ebell of Los Angeles.
