A man whose identity remained a mystery for five months after he was brought to a South Los Angeles hospital has been reunited with his family.
The man had no identification when paramedics found him at South New Hampshire Avenue and West 112th Street on Nov. 5, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.
A DHS statement did not include any details about his condition, saying only that the man was alert but unable to give information to help to identify him and carried no identification.
According to a statement from Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, the man “has been reunited with his family, thanks to media and public response to the DHS’ plea for help identifying the patient.”
The man remains hospitalized.
