Firefighters Saturday morning battled a two-alarm blaze at a two-story commercial building in Huntington Park.
Crews responded at 3:32 a.m. to the intersection of Pacific Boulevard and Fruitland Avenue and saw heavy smoke and fire showing through the roof, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters took up a defensive position and reported heavy smoke with active fire on the second floor of the building.
