Waived and reduced pet adoption fees are being offered at animal shelters in Los Angeles Saturday and Sunday as part of a holiday special.
Adult dogs and cats over four months old are free, while dogs and cats under four months are half off, with $75 for puppies and $25 for kittens.
“The holiday season can be the perfect time to find your furry family member,” said Brenda Barnette, LA Animal Services general manager. “You can get him or her settled in while you have a couple of days off work. At LA Animal Services, we have a variety of pets in all sizes, ages, and breeds, just waiting for us to find them a new home of their own.”
LA Animal Services pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped and ready to go home, make a great gift for the holiday season, and can be adopted at any of six animal services centers, LA Animal Services said.
