Authorities Wednesday are responding to a woman’s death in the same block as missing woman Julia Christine Snyder’s home in Malibu.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 4300 block of Ocean View Drive at about 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, according to Deputy Eric Ortiz of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Further information was not released.
The scene is in the same block as the home of 53-year-old Julia Snyder, who suffers from bipolar disorder and was last seen near her home at about 9 p.m. on Feb. 8, according to the department. Investigators and volunteers have been searching the area around the home for Snyder since she was reported missing.
Authorities have not disclosed whether or not the deceased woman is Snyder.
