Police released photos Wednesday of a gun-wielding robber who jumped over a counter to grab cash at a U.S. Bank branch in Garden Grove.
The robbery at 12112 Valley View St. happened just before 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to Garden Grove police Lt. Ben Stauffer, who said the FBI and Garden Grove police were cooperating on the investigation.

The robber demanded cash at gunpoint, then jumped over a counter and started grabbing some and ordering another teller to fetch more money, Stauffer said. The suspect grabbed the cash from the second teller and ran out of the bank, the lieutenant added.
The 20-something suspect was described as being of Asian descent, wearing sunglasses, a black long-sleeved T-shirt and a black baseball cap with a white front panel containing a black logo.
