A Buena Park Police Department SWAT team surrounded a location Tuesday night where a possible shooting suspect may be located.
Cpl. Bret Carter of the Buena Park Police Department said that at 7:30 p.m. officers talked to a shooting victim who claimed to have been shot in the area of 10th Street and Kingman Avenue.
Carter said the victim was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center. He said he could not provide his age, gender or condition, although an ABC7 report said the victim was in critical condition and the person who shot him lived in his home in the area.
Carter said that people in the area had been evacuated. The ABC7 story said the SWAT team was in a standoff with the suspect.
