A body found in the Huntington Harbor was identified as a 58-year-old man reported missing from Huntington Beach by his family on New Year’s Eve.
Foul play is not suspected in the death of Huntington Beach resident Larry Sarver, who was identified by the Orange County coroner’s office. But there was no word from officials of what events could have led to the man’s death.
An autopsy will determine his cause of death.
A kayaker spotted Sarver’s body floating in the harbor about 5 p.m. Friday, authorities said.
