Not THAT John Wayne: He’s accused of pimping 13-year-old

A 30-year-old man with a movie legend’s name was charged Friday with human trafficking and pimping a 13-year-old girl in Orange County.

John Wayne Calhoun of San Bernardino was accused of having the girl perform sex acts for money, which he pocketed, in Orange County, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Santa Ana police made contact with the girl Thursday in an area known for prostitution, and Calhoun was arrested shortly after that, prosecutors said.

Calhoun could face up to 26 years to life in prison if he is convicted at trial. He was scheduled to be arraigned June 24.
